High Speed Train Information Meeting was held in Beypasa
An information meeting was held in the district of Beypazarı for the Ankara-Istanbul High Speed Train Project.
Ozgur Ozkan, who prepared the EIA report as a speaker at the meeting held in the meeting hall of the Beypazari Chamber of Commerce, said that the Ankara-Istanbul connection of the high-speed train line is the 262 kilometer and that the 120 kilometer will pass through the provincial borders of Ankara.
Özkan stated that there will be only 1.5 stations in the high-speed train project that will start from Ankara or Sincan station and will reduce the time between Ankara and Istanbul to 2 hours, and one of them will be in Beypazarı and the north of Karakamış in Sakarya center, 37 kilometers before the old project He stated that he did not coincide with the new high-speed train project that will go fast, so that the tunnels built in the new project will not use most of them, including the Ayaş Tunnel, and a separate route has been designed.
Özkan stated that some of the infrastructures in the previous project will be partially used and a path like a drawing is planned, “This project is currently in the feasibility phase. There is no final situation yet. All areas on the line route were examined in detail. Some changes can be made on the project. Without entering the settlements, we will pass our line through agricultural land, forests and pastures. Therefore, many art structures will be built. 22 bridges and viaducts, 50 tunnels, 403 underpasses and overpasses will be built along the line. We cannot make folds because it is a high-speed train line. ”
Emphasizing that 4-5 years are required for the project to start, Ozkan stated that the end of the 2013 project is over and that the project is over and that the project is planned to be completed between 2014-2018.
Özkan pointed out that the project will have environmental impacts and act according to the laws to minimize these effects.
“We will have a viaduct transition over the water in a very small part of Sarıyar Dam. Bridges will be built here, we will not harm the dam. While the bridges of these bridges are being erected, there will be turbidity in the waters but these will be temporary environmental effects. We will do machine maintenance on concrete floors, not on soil. Efforts will be made to ensure that the dynamites that will be detonated in tunnel openings will have the least effect. This project is an environmental project. We are working in connection with organizations such as DSI-Highways. All these factors will be in line with the law. We want to complete this project without harming the environment. There are 30 million cubic meters of excavation, and the area to be filled is 29 million cubic meters. For our stone need, we prefer licensed permitted quarries available primarily in the region. There is no cooktop designated to be opened at this stage. If a hearth needs to be opened in the future, a (EIA) study will be carried out for it. The first target will be the quarries currently operating.
