The Ministry of Transport of Azerbaijan announced that between 2007 and 2012, 431,3 million dollars were spent for the Baku Tbilisi Kars railway project (BTK). According to the data of the Ministry, 2007 million dollars were spent in 2012-431,3 years within the scope of ICTA, and 2012 million-dollar loan provided by Azerbaijan side was used in 151,5.

In the report, within the scope of the project, the 2012 kilometer new road on the Akhalkalaki – Turkey border, the Akhalkalaki and Kartsakhi station buildings, the railway line 5,2-101 in 103. It has been stated that the construction of the 150-meter bridge located between the 4,2 kilometers of the bridge, the 153 kilometer tunnel on the Turkey-Georgia border and the reconstruction works of the XNUMX kilometer-long Marabda-Akhalkalaki road are continuing.
