2013 TARGET IN TRANSPORTATION
Stating that in 2013, 434 projects will be carried out, Yıldırım said, “The number of projects we will start is 102 and the number of projects we will complete is 111. In 2013, we will build 3 kilometers of hot asphalt. So this year there is a mobilization on hot asphalt. This year we have made the divided roads, now we have to cover them with highway quality hot asphalt. Major important projects will accelerate. One of these projects is the Istanbul-Izmir highway. Towards the end of this year, we will see the bridge legs rising in the Gulf of Izmit. This year we will see that the feet of the North Marmara Highway and the third Bosphorus Bridge are rising. The High Speed Train between Istanbul and Ankara will finally end this year. 500 years of Marmaray dream will come true. Two lines from Ankara metro; We will finish the Red Crescent-Çayyolu, Batıkent-Sincan at the end of this year, the third line will remain at Tandoğan-Keçiören 150. We will start the construction of the third airport. Last year we started the construction of the North Aegean Port, which will be among the 2014 largest ports in the world. We will continue speeding up again this year. We will tender the Filyoz Port in the Black Sea in 10. We have hundreds of R&D projects in IT ”.
Regarding the privatization of bridges and highways for 25 years, Minister Yıldırım said, “They will operate the facilities on the roads; they will maintain roads and bridges. There are limitations on hikes, inflation will not exceed. The free application will continue. But newly built highways are not included in privatization. ”
Stating that the speed limit has been increased by 10 kilometers on highways and cannot be increased any more, Minister Yıldırım said, “Roads have no king, roads have a rule.
