Minister Erdogan Bayraktar announced that they are planning a 630 kilometers long railway line between Trabzon and Diyarbakır in the Black Sea. Erdogan Bayraktar, in his statement, stated that they made very serious contributions to the governorship, special administration and the municipality for the improvement of village roads and group roads.
“We are working on the details of the Trabzon-Gümüşhane-Erzincan Railway Project. This work, which we think of as a High Speed Train project, starts from Erzincan where there is a national railway connection and reaches Trabzon from Gümüşhane. Even a speed of 250 kilometers per hour is envisaged. It is planned to reach Trabzon from the Torul district of Gümüşhane. 100% physical realization of the study of the project has been achieved and the work on the project continues. We are planning a 630 kilometers long railway line between Trabzon-Tirebolu-Gümüşhane-Erzincan-Diyarbakır in order to connect the Black Sea with GAP, Syria and Iraq.
