Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, with the support of Turkey's first local tram 'Silkworm produces Durmazlar will now set up the infrastructure for Italy, Poland and the Netherlands high-speed trains.
Bursa Metropolitan Mayor Recep Altepe stated that orders were received from Italy, Poland and the Netherlands. Responding to journalists' questions, Recep Altepe drew attention to the quality of the tram produced in Bursa, as well as the 'Silkworm' tram that was lowered onto the rails to the Burulaş workshop.
Underlining that they produce world-class quality, Altepe noted that the last driving tests of Silkworm have been carried out and that it has become walking on the streets of the world.
Stating that the same company started the production of metro wagons this time, Altepe emphasized that the process continues rapidly and that the production of the metro wagon will be easier than the tram.
