While trying to cross the road in Konya, a person who slipped and fell under the tram was rescued from the place where he was stuck as a result of the meticulous work of the firefighters.
The accident occurred at around 18.15 in the central Selçuklu district. According to the information received, Muhittin Öncel (47) noticed that the 127 numbered tram was coming while he was trying to cross the street by using the tram line at the intersection of Yeni Istanbul Avenue and Lale Street. Öncel, who thought that he could move quickly and cross the street, fell under the tram as a result of his foot slipping on the slippery ground due to rain. Citizens passing by the scene immediately informed the health and fire brigade crews (life market on the Konya tram).
Öncel, who was lying motionless on the ground in pain, waited for the fire crews to rescue him. The teams mobilized to rescue Öncel rescued the seriously injured person from the place where he was stuck after about 45 minutes of work. Öncel was taken to Necmettin Erbakan University Meram Medical Faculty Hospital with an ambulance waiting at the scene.
While those around were watching the firefighters rescue the injured person with fearful eyes, the tram services were stopped for a while due to the accident.
