World's Longest High Speed ​​Train Line Opens in China
There will be trains on the World's Longest High Speed ​​Line between Beijing and Guangcou in the south.
It is reported that China will put the world's longest high-speed train between the capital city Beijing and the southern city of Guangcou.
The Chinese Railways Ministry announced that the 26-kilometer-long Beijing-Guangcou high-speed train line will open on December 2, "the birthday of Mao Zedong."
The train, whose average speed will be 300 kilometers per hour, will reduce the travel time between Beijing and Guangcou, the economic center of the south, from 20,5 hours to 8 hours.
The highest speed will be designed as 350 mileage, and there will even be 35 stops with major cities like Shiciacuang, Cinggcou, Wuhan and Changsha.
The ministry said the line will increase its cargo transportation between Beijing and Wuhan by 20 million tons.
