It was determined that the route of the Road Tube Crossing project under the Bosphorus was not planed.
In order to make Haydarpaşa the center of trade and tourism, the project of the Transit Project was completed under the Bosphorus.
However, since the route of the Tube Transit project was not processed in the plans, the commercial development given to TCDD lands was converted to green area. One of the most prestigious projects of Istanbul, Haydarpaşa Port project, the zoning plans of the Bosphorus Tube Transition project route was processed. In order to transform Harem and Haydarpaşa region into touristic and commercial centers, the land belonging to TCDD was taken to the public service area. The demand for the conversion of the TCDD land, which is designated as Municipal Service Area and Social Facility, to the commercial area was accepted at the meeting of the Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Council 13 April 2012.
However, in the examination conducted by the Ministry of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications, it was determined that the route of the Road Tube Crossing project, which will pass under the Bosphorus, was not planned. In the article sent by the Ministry, it was stated that there were limits on approaching the route of the tube passage which would allow the passage of the vehicles, but it was not taken into account because the plans were not processed. It was stated that this situation may cause future drawbacks and the necessary arrangements were made. Accordingly, the land on the tube passage route was converted from a commercial development to a green area.
HAK LOSS WAS RECEIVED
TCDD stated that construction restriction occurred due to tube passage and asked for reinstatement of lost rights in another part of the project. City Council, turning the fall into a green field, has brought a ban on construction. It was also decided to compensate for the loss of rights arising from the withdrawal of the zoning in the land of the TCDD in another part of the project.
