Lyon T5 Tram Line, one of the largest cities in France, was opened on Saturday, November 17, with the participation of Lyon City Mayor, Senators, President of the Urban Transport Union and Alstom Transport France.
Alstom Citadis high-capacity train sets were procured in record time for the opening of this line. These trams started to operate on the T2012 Line as of December 3. With the opening of the Lyon T5 Tram Line, 85 trainsets of 43 meters, consisting of 32 vehicles, will start operating in the city of Lyon.
