Justice and Development Party Bursa Deputy Hüseyin Şahin and Yenişehir Mayor Bülent Hamdi Cingil attended the meeting held in Ankara to determine the location of the Bursa High Speed Train project to be established in Yenişehir, which will operate on the Bursa-Ankara line.
At the meeting in the General Directorate of TCDD, Deputy General Manager of State Railways İsa Apaydın Deputy Hüseyin Şahin and Mayor Bülent Hamdi Cingil, who met with Mustafa Babal, Head of Construction and Construction Department, demanded that the station to be built in Yenişehir be used as a place for the people of Yenisehir, İnegöl, İznik and Orhangaz, and the station to be built. TCDD Deputy General Manager İsa Apaydın by giving support, technical arrangements will be made.
Yenişehir Mayor Bülent Hamdi Cingil said in a statement after the meeting that the station, which is accepted to be established on the front of İnegöl road in the water tank location, will be open to passenger and cargo transportation. Stating that they started technical correspondence as a municipality, Cingil said that there is a Yenişehir Organized Industrial Zone (YOSAB) near the region, and that the products produced in Yenişehir will be transported to other centers by high-speed train.
Stating that a connection line will be drawn between the OSB and the station to transport the goods produced in the Organized Industrial Zone to the water tank area, Cingil wished that the decision was good.
