Ansaldo STS won the tender for the installation of a signaling system for the 14.7 km extension of the Perth metropolitan railway line, worth 17.900.000 million Euros (A $ 7,5 million), opened by Western Australia's Public Transport organization PTA.
Ansaldo STS has undertaken the signaling and design works for the new extension. It will also install Ansaldo STS Automatic Train Protection technology.
The project is expected to be completed in approximately 2 years.
