Alstom Signed Maintenance Agreement for 12 High Speed ​​Train Sets

Alstom 12 2 years of high-speed train sets for the maintenance of the Republic of Turkey State Railways (TCDD) has signed a contract worth approximately 22,3 million euros. Trains in commercial operation since 2009 have been operating between Ankara-Eskişehir (245 km) and Ankara-Konya (310 km). High-speed trains are expected to travel 10 million kilometers during the two-year contract. Maintenance works will be carried out at TCDD's maintenance warehouse in Ankara.

The contract includes daily internal and external cleaning of trains, daily checks and preventive and corrective maintenance works. The contract also includes heavy maintenance tasks, repair of potential damage during operation. The TCDD will take care of Alstom's maintenance work, the 20 over the years in Alstom's high-speed train maintenance, and the 30 experience over years of experience in the design and manufacture of these trains.
