14 additional MP05 metro train supply agreements have been signed between Stif of the Ile-de-France region and RATP, the Paris metro operator, and Alstom Transport. The new trains are being supplied to the Mairie de Saint-Ouen station with metro line 14 in Paris, which will be the north extension of the line. Deliveries will begin in 2014 and end in 2015.
MP05 trains are designed and manufactured in France at the Valenciennes factory. MP05 trains are produced end-to-end with wide corridors and low floors. These trains are also produced to provide more comfortable passenger flow at the stations with three large gates.
