Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Recep Altepe, who examined the works that came to the completion stage on Darmstadt Street at night, said that the problems were detected in the works on the Stadium Street and that the works would progress much faster from now on.

In order to make transportation uninterrupted and comfortable in Bursa, the Metropolitan Municipality, which divides most of its transportation investments into rail systems, accelerated its work on the Kestel line after the Bursaray Görükle and Emek lines. On the other hand, Sculpture-Garage line aims to bring the tram to the city center. The railway laying process was completed in the section on the Stadium Street of the line, which was laid in August and covered the route of Stadium Street-Altıparmak Street- Atatürk Street- Sculpture- İnönü Caddesi- Kıbrıs Şehitleri Street- Kent Meydanı- Darmstad Street. Mayor Recep Altepe, who examined the work on Darmstadt Street at night, was informed by Burulaş General Manager Levent Fidansoy and the contractors of the Spanish firm. President Altepe stated that the deficiencies and faults were detected during the works that started in Stadium Street and that the works will proceed much faster after that and that the works on Darmstadt Street will be completed within a few days.

Noting that their only goal is to complete the works in a short time and to ensure that the citizens are not victims, President Altepe said, “The contractor company continues to work at night for this. After that, work will begin in İnönü and Ulu Cadde. We are planning to finish the entire line by the end of May. Later, we will start the studies on the connections of the T1 line such as Yalova road, Yıldırım and Çekirge. Thus, our city center will meet with odorless, noiseless, uninterrupted and comfortable transportation. " said.


13 station will take place along the route of Stadium Street - Altıparmak Street - Atatürk Street - Sculpture - İnönü Street - Kıbrıs Şehitleri Street - City Square - Darmstad Street.
