Railway professions (Traffic Controller)

The Traffic Controller (Level 6) shall comply with the provisions of the Us Regulation on the Preparation of National Occupational Standards Hakkında and the X Regulation on the Establishment, Duty, Working Procedures and Principles of the Sectoral Committees of Vocational Qualifications Authority Hakkında issued in accordance with the Law on Professional Qualification Authority (VQA) numbered national occupational standard 5544. and TCDD Personnel Solidarity and Assistance Foundation (TCDD).
The Traffic Inspector (Level 6) national occupational standard was evaluated by taking the opinions of the relevant institutions and organizations in the sector and approved by the FMC Board of Directors after reviewing by FMC Transportation, Logistics and Communication Sector Committee.
Traffic Controller (Level 6) is the traffic manager who manages the traffic of all trains and railway vehicles in the line segment that is allocated to its management by using traffic systems, supervises the execution of its instructions, makes decisions about train preferences and takes temporary measures in cases that affect traffic and non-plan.
The Traffic Controller is responsible for the accuracy, timing and quality of the operations carried out independently. works in compliance with the work instructions and informs the concerned parties of any extraordinary situations and failures beyond the scope of the responsibility. It is among the responsibilities of the Traffic Controller to ensure the traffic safety in the line segment allocated to its management with its own occupational safety and to contribute to the safety of the people it works with.
Measurement and evaluation to be carried out for certification purposes based on national qualifications based on the Traffic Controller (Level 6) occupational standard shall be carried out in written and / or oral theoretical and practical basis in the measurement and evaluation centers where the necessary conditions are met.
The principles of application with the method of measurement and evaluation are detailed in the national qualifications to be prepared according to this occupational standard. Procedures related to measurement and evaluation and certification are carried out within the framework of Professional Qualification, Examination and Certification Regulation.
