The Metrobus Case That Kadir Topbaş Did Not Participate Due To Excuse Has Been Postponed: The second hearing of the case filed against Kadir Topbaş, the Mayor of Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, regarding the allegations of corruption in the purchase of the metrobus was held. Topbaş, who made an excuse, did not attend the hearing.
The second hearing of the ongoing case was held at the Istanbul 31st Criminal Court of Peace after CHP Metropolitan Municipality Councilors Hakkı Sağlam and Bülent Soylan complained from Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Kadir Topbaş on the allegation of corruption in the purchase of the metrobus. While the complainants Bülent Soylan, Hakkı Sağlam and the party lawyers were present at the hearing, Topbaş did not attend the hearing by stating an excuse.

In the indictment prepared by the Istanbul Chief Public Prosecutor's Office, it was alleged that Topbaş made a purchase regarding the metrobus project of the IMM İETT General Directorate, although the financial conditions of the Capa City company were better, and that the Phileas buses damaged the municipality. For this reason, Kadir Topbaş is facing prison terms of 1 to 3 years for "misconduct".
