Terminal building will be built like 'space station' on high speed train

Work on the high-speed train project, which will reduce the travel time between Ankara and Istanbul to 3 hours, continues.

While the 412-kilometer high-speed train track was being laid in the 300-kilometer round-trip Ankara-Eskişehir section, the preliminary project of the new 'terminal building' to be built in Ankara for the high-speed train that was launched in 2007 was completed. According to the project prepared by the Republic of Turkey State Railways, the new terminal building is reminiscent of the space station, has a more modern design than the old stone building. Inside the building, where a different architectural style stands out, there will be many social places such as a commercial center, cinema, viewing terraces, shops, cafes, floor offices and art galleries.
