The car hit by the locomotive at the level crossing in the Tavsanli district of Kütahya fell into the irrigation canal. The driver of the car in the accident, 44-year-old ZE, was slightly injured.
The accident occurred at around 07.30 in the Ömerbey neighborhood. The maneuvering locomotive from Tunçbilek direction to Tavşanlı district hit the 43 DS 944 plate car under the management of ZE, which wanted to cross the level crossing without a barrier.
The locomotive crashed into the irrigation canal under the automobile railway line bridge. The car driver E. injured in the accident was taken to the hospital with the 112 ambulance that came to the scene. It was stated that the investigation into the accident is continuing.
