In Karabük University opened the first railway systems engineering department in Turkey, '1st International Railway Systems Engineering Workshop' will be held between 11-13 October. Cooperation between Karabuk University and TCDD continues in all areas of rail systems. In order to test the rails produced in Kardemir, TCDD and Kardemir collaborated to establish a 'rail test station' at Karabük University.
