The incident in question occurred when the 12.15 BZJ 42-plate TIR entered the level crossing in an uncontrolled manner during the Diesel Train Set (DMU) operating between Konya and Karaman at 80 am while sailing between Konya and Kaşınhan. The treatment of truck driver Mehmet Akçay, who was seriously injured in the incident, and Machinist Sezai Dilmen, who was injured, continue at the Meram Training and Research Hospital.
