Because there are too many industrial facilities in this region and there are too many populations. Therefore, there are two lines here, TEM road and D-100 Highway. Izmit is still having serious problems with the traffic load. Thinking about transit traffic, we added a third line here. This is the subject that was later included in the project. Minister Yıldırım, who said that the transportation was carried out on a part of 17 kilometers between Derince and Köseköy, said: “Generally, the line is closed now and only 17 kilometers between Derince and Köseköy are being transported. At the moment, it seems to be finished, with a total of close to 20 percent. If we do not count the removal of the old line as a whole, one hundred percent lifting has been done.
