Within the scope of the Sculpture-Garage (T1) Tram Line designed by Bursa Metropolitan Municipality to bring comfortable transportation with the city center, the construction works on the Stadium Street will begin on Wednesday, August 22. Within the scope of the tram line works, traffic will go down to a single lane in certain parts of Stadium Street.
Sculpture-Garaj tram line works, which were designed to produce a radical solution to the transportation problem in the city center and whose foundation was laid on August 7, will be carried out on Stadium Avenue as of August 22. In order for the citizens not to have any problems in transportation before the Bayram, the works carried out only in the construction site in Kültürpark will continue on the Stadium Street after the Bayram. Due to the construction works, Stadium Street will be reduced to a single lane in certain areas.
Within the scope of the project, which will be completed in a short time, 13 station will be located along the route of Stadium Street- Altıparmak Avenue- Atatürk Street- Sculpture- İnönü Caddesi-Kıbrıs Şehitleri Street- Darmstad Street. A workshop building, 2 warehouse road, 2 workshop road, 15 scissors, a cruiser, 3 transformer building will be manufactured. There will also be a special rail system in the area intersecting the Cumhuriyet Caddesi tram line.
4 pieces of pocket lines were also designed in places suitable for emergencies. Within the scope of the project, the construction of excavation-filling and infrastructure drainage systems, installation of stations, construction of stations, signaling systems compatible with the existing traffic signaling system and construction of scada systems and workshop building for the maintenance and repair of tram vehicles will be made.
