As per the protocol signed with TCDD, İzmir Metropolitan Municipality, which has completed its projects for 30 stations and 5 highway overpasses on an additional line of approximately 7 kilometers, is carrying out stage stage construction tenders. Büyükşehir, which made the tender for Torbalı and Tepeköy stations from 5 stations on the line in July, will hold a tender for Develi, Tekeli and Pancar stations on August 31. After the tender is finalized and the site is delivered, the construction of the stations will be completed in 16 months. The stations are designed as 210 meters tall, with lower ticket hall, pedestrian underpass, elevator and escalator.
5 STATION 7 HIGHWAY HIGH PASS WILL BE DONE
Within the scope of the additional line to be built to the Aliağa-Menderes Suburban system-İZBAN, which has become an indispensable public transportation line for İzmir residents in a short time, a total of 5 stations will be built by İzmir Metropolitan Municipality in Develi, Tekeli, Pancar, Torbalı and Tepeköy after Cumaovası Station. In addition, the highway overpass in Menderes Gölcükler, Cumaovası partial underpass, the highway overpass in Develi, the highway overpass in Tekeli, the highway overpass in Pancar, the highway overpass in Torbalı Kuşcuburnu, the highway overpass in Torbalı and A highway overpass will be built in Tepeköy. Again in Tepeköy, a pedestrian overpass with elevators and escalators will be built to ensure that citizens can safely cross the street.

According to the protocol made by the Metropolitan Municipality with TCDD, the station works and sub-overpasses will be carried out by the Izmir Metropolitan Municipality, while the one-line railway from Cumaovasi to Torbali will be removed even by TCDD. The construction of the protection walls of the line, signaling and electrification systems in line with the line of Aliağa-Cumaovası Torbalı Tepeköy'a extension will be done by TCDD again.
With the activation of the additional line, passengers getting off from Aliağa and the city center will have the opportunity to travel safely, quickly, uninterruptedly and comfortably to Torbalı. Selçuk, Bayındır, Tire and Ödemiş passengers will also be able to travel by rail from Torbalı to İzmir center and then to Aliağa.
