The route of some minibus lines changed with an arrangement made by Ankara Chamber of Minibus Tradesmen.
According to this change, Dikmen and Ayrancı minibuses departing from Güvenpark will continue to Dikmen Street by going through a single lane to the General Staff Junction with the help of the signaling established at the intersection of Yahya Galip Street and Milli Müdafaa Avenue.

Ankara Metropolitan Municipality, Ankara Minibuses Tradesmen Chamber President said that they had a huge traffic problem in Güvenpark before the arrangement.

It was reported that the decision of Ankara Metropolitan Municipality to allow Dikmen and Ayrancı minibuses departing from Güvenpark to use the exit direction of Milli Müdafaa Street to the General Staff Junction as a single lane, pleased citizens and minibuses.

In the statement made by Ankara Metropolitan Municipality Press Center, Hacı Bekir Gani, President of the Ankara Minibuses Association Chamber of Tradesmen, stated that they had a great traffic problem in Güvenpark before the arrangement.

Noting that it took 30 minutes for the minibuses to exit from the stops, Gani said, “This both increased the traffic load of the old route and caused a great waste of time for the citizens. The current route was allowed after our citizens and us conveyed the issue to our Metropolitan Mayor Melih Gökçek ”.
Gani noted that when the schools are opened, the number of minibuses in Güvenpark will be reduced and they will use the stops in Dikmen, Ayrancı and Öveçler districts as storage areas.

With the decision taken by the Metropolitan Municipality Department of Transportation and Police Department officials, a new route study was made for Dikmen and Ayrancı minibus drivers due to the metro works on İnönü Boulevard.

According to this study, Dikmen and Ayrancı minibuses departing from Güvenpark will continue to Dikmen Street by going through a single lane to the General Staff Junction with the help of the signaling established at the intersection of Yahya Galip Street and Milli Müdafaa Avenue.

Metropolitan Municipality officials also stated that the route can be canceled in case of large traffic congestion and intensity.
