IETT will renew the Beyoğlu Nostalgic tram line between Taksim and Tünel for the first time after 22 years. Within the scope of the works, the rails, scissors and catenary line on the route will be dismantled, drainage connections and other systems of paving stones will be renewed. Within the scope of the works on the main line of 1640 meters between Taksim and Tunnel, a total of 2 thousand 40 meters will be re-laid with the meeting and warehouse line. Launched in December 1990, Beyoğlu uses the Nostalgic tram for about 55 thousand people a month.
