Karabuk University (KBU) Rector Prof. Dr. Burhanettin Uysal stated that they will organize the 1st International Railway Systems Engineering Workshop and said, “The development of rail systems technologies in our country and increasing research cooperation is possible by creating new discussion platforms”.
Speaking to Anadolu Agency (AA), Uysal stated that they will organize the 11st International Rail Systems Engineering Workshop in Karabük between 13-1 October, and that they will bring together industrial organizations and public institutions and organizations in this field.
Stating that Karabük is the center in the field of rail systems, Uysal,
“Development of rail systems technologies and increasing research cooperation in our country is possible by creating new discussion platforms. It is envisaged to bring together industrial organizations and public institutions and organizations in this field, to identify problems and to evaluate them in a scientific environment. In this context, we will organize this workshop within the Faculty of Engineering ”.
Uysal emphasized that very important issues will be put on the table during the workshop.
“Rail construction, rail production, rail technologies, rail vehicles, high speed trains, metro and light rail systems, spark plugs, rail system standards, optimization, vibration, acoustics, signaling, maintenance and repair, human resources, security in rail systems in our workshop. will come up. The papers deemed appropriate at the end of the workshop will be published in the International Journal of the Faculty of Engineering of Karabük University, named "Engıneerıng Science And Technology, An Internatıonal Journal".
