For the Eskişehir Train Station, the Station Bridge must be demolished: AK Party Eskişehir Deputy Salih Koca stated that the court has concluded in favor of TCDD regarding the Train Station Project and said, “The Station Bridge needs to be demolished in order for the project to reach its full target. We wish to reach an agreement between TCDD and Metropolitan Municipality. ”
Koca stated that during the press conference within the scope of “People's Day” held at the AK Party Provincial Directorate, the court process, which has been going on for 3-4 years regarding the Gar Pass Project, which has been a subject that has been discussed for many years, resulted in the decision made in favor of TCDD. Station Bridge needs to be demolished to reach its target. We wish to reach an agreement between TCDD and Metropolitan Municipality. ”
Expressing that they made their efforts as deputies in order to conclude the negotiations positively, Koca stated that the project was delayed for the “blind stubbornness” and that this created great problems in the city.
Koca said that the court has made the final decision regarding the project and that the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization has also made plans and said:
“Two months ago, plans were suspended at the Cultural Heritage Conservation Board, and their approvals and opinions were received. At the point we have arrived, I hope the work of the high speed train has started and started again. We desire to make the new station project and to complete the High Speed Train Project as soon as possible. In this sense, 'no hotel will be demolished, it will pass through the hotel', there is no such thing. Here is the subject we are waiting for now; Within the scope of the plans made by the Ministry of Environment and Urbanization, a new station will be constructed between the existing station and the Enveriye on the appropriate place and point on a land of approximately 2 thousand acres. ”
The bridge needs to be demolished to complete the project
Koca stated that the İsmet İnönü Bridge, which was understood to have completed its life in line with the reports given by the Eskişehir Osmangazi University and the opinions of the Chamber of Civil Engineers, continued as follows:
“Frankly, for a long time, we have been insisting that this bridge is closed in its place. Because this project was underground city transition, we had 4 main goals. It was the disappearance of Bağlar Pass, Muttalip Bridge, Sakarya Pass and Station Bridge. By removing the Station Bridge, the project will have reached its full goal. The Station Bridge must also be demolished in order for the project, which has completed its lifetime and for the project to reach its full goal. In the next period, the work has accelerated. If there is a fortune, a new station will be built in a suitable area between the current station and the Inventory. The bridge is a bridge that belongs to TCDD, which must be demolished, has completed its life and is a risk. Therefore, this bridge needs to be found and this bridge must be demolished. Koca stated that with the policies implemented by the AK Party in an environment of trust since 2002, serious developments have been achieved in every field, the level of welfare in the country has increased and the Law of Adjustment, which retired people have been waiting for, has been enacted in this period.
Explaining that the new stadium project is about to be completed by the Ministry of Youth and Sports, Koca added that the tender is planned to be laid next month and the groundbreaking is planned within the year.
