State Railways (TCDD), which are preparing to tender for 6 pieces high-speed train (YHT), will take trains that will make 350 mileage speed.
The project, which will start with an approximately 175 million euro loan from the Islamic Development Bank, will increase to 2016 by 62 with the opening of the Ankara-Istanbul and Ankara-Sivas lines. Thus, “Very high-speed trains” will be added to YHTs traveling between Ankara-Eskişehir and Konya at a speed of 250 kilometers. These auctions are planned to be completed soon. In this way, the demands on the Ankara-Eskişehir and Ankara-Konya lines can be met by increasing the expeditions. With the trains planned to be bought, both the flights of YHTs on the Ankara-Eskişehir and Ankara-Konya lines will be increased and the time will be shorter with faster trains.
