Phoenix West Light Rail Line Extension Approved

The Arizona administration has approved plans for the western extension of the Phoenix Valley metro light rail line. The new 17.7km extension will connect downtown Phoenix with the 79th Street interchange and the I-10 West highway.
The next phase of the project includes environmental assessment and preliminary design. The construction line is planned to open in mid-5, while the eastern extension of the construction line, approximately 2015 km, to Central Mesa continues.
