AK Party Kütahya Provincial Chairman Kamil Saraçoğlu said that the Monuments Board did not give permission for the cable car line project planned to be built between Hisar and Hıdırlık.
Saraçoğlu, who stated that the institution's perspective is very different, said, "The main reason for the implementation of the project in question is the Monuments Board. The institution's perspective is very different. I do not believe that this perspective is correct. Because, in Europe, facilities are built in regions where many historical artifacts are located to bring tourism. I think we need to make fundamental structural changes in this institution."
It was learned that the Board of Monuments did not approve the ropeway project because of the fact that it was the works that should be protected in the first degree with Hisar and Hıdırlık.
