In İstanbul Bahçelievler, the students of Kemal Hasoğlu High School Denis Tekin, İrem Dinçsoy and Buket Bulut lost their lives by staying under the tramway when they were trying to cross the road in front of the school.
The prosecutor's office filed a lawsuit against Ali Osman Erdoğan and Istanbul Transportation Inc. Cengiz Yıldırım for up to 15 imprisonment. The families of the children accepted their compensation and withdrew from the case. In his opinion, the prosecutor asked the expert to dismiss Cengiz Yıldırım as a principal flawed and Ali Osman Erdoğan as a minor defective.
