Transport Minister Binali Yıldırım evaluated Ankara Projects

Minister Yıldırım was the guest of the “Agenda 06” meetings organized by Ankara Young Businessmen Association (ANGİAD).
-Ankara projects-
Last 10 year in the field of transportation of 123 billion pounds stating that they have made Lightning, the ministry gave information about the work and projects.
Stating that Ankara-Niğde Motorway is one of his priority projects, Yıldırım stated that the project is in the approval phase of the High Planning Council.
Stating that Ankara subways will also be completed quickly, Minister Yıldırım stated that the Kızılay-Çayyolu line will be finished next year and said, "Either this project will be finished or we will be finished, understand that we have entered so ambitiously."
Stating that the Batıkent-Sincan line will also be completed in 2013, Yıldırım noted that the Tandogan-Keçiören line will have a little more work, 1.100 meters of tunnel work and will be completed in 2014.
Providing information about the Başkentray project, Yıldırım stated that the Sincan-Kayaş line will be completely defeated and the number of lines will be increased to 5. Explaining that 3 stations will be built within the scope of the project, Yıldırım stated that there will be no level crossings along the line.
Minister Yıldırım stated that Ankara and İzmir are among the 4 fastest growing cities in the world.
"We have no problem with the airport in Ankara," said Yıldırım, who made a decision to nationalize the new runway. Stating that Ankara Esenboğa Airport is at a level to meet all kinds of needs in the long term, Minister Yıldırım said, “There is no need for a new airport in Ankara”.
