İbrahim Ertiryaki, General Manager of Türkiye Vagon Sanayi AŞ (TÜVASAŞ), stated that they are proud of delivering the wagons they produced for the Bulgarian Railways in a record time of 17 months.

İbrahim Ertiryaki, in his written statement, stated that they will hold a ceremony at TÜVASAŞ for the delivery of luxury sleeping passenger wagons tomorrow with the participation of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications Minister Binali Yıldırım and Bulgarian Transport, Information Technologies and Communications Minister Ivaylo Moskovski.

Reminding that the project contract for wagon production was signed in December 2010, Ertiryaki stated that the manufacturing process started on January 3, 2011, following the payment of the first advance.

Ertiryaki pointed out that the production of the wagons, which consist of 3 beds, each compartment of which can be adjusted, and which has an "Intercom System" that enables passengers to communicate with the personnel, said:

”The manufactured wagons have a modern structure. We are proud to come to the point of delivering this project, which is the only one in its class with a closed circuit camera system for fire safety and fire safety in corridors, suitable seating for disabled passengers and vacuum toilet system, in a record time of 17 months. I also congratulate everyone who contributed to the realization of this project, which has the first 'interoperability technical conditions document' in conventional type wagons in the world.
