The body of 35-year-old Kadir Sevim, a construction worker who lost his life in the construction of the subway while walking to work in Ankara, was buried in tears in his hometown, Ordu's Korgan District.
The body of 15-year-old Kadir Sevim, who was found in the collapsed pavement in front of the Air Force Command on İnönü Boulevard, and whose body was found 35 hours later, was taken by his relatives after the operations in Ankara and brought to the father's hearth in Korgan district of Ordu.
Kadir Sevim, married and father of two children, who started to work in the construction of the Parliament Annex Building in Ankara 2 days ago, died last Friday morning after falling to work on the part of the Kızılay-Çayyolu subway construction on İnönü Boulevard. The body of Sevim, whose lifeless body was reached after 2 hours, was sent to Korgan District of Ordu, his hometown.
Today, the funeral prayer was performed at the Central Mosque in the Sarıçali District of the district. While Sevim's family and relatives attended the funeral, her 16-year-old wife Hatice Sevim, 35, had a nervous breakdown. While the painful woman tried to calm the relatives, her 15-year-old son Oğuzhan and 14-year-old daughter Ayşegül also shed tears. Oğuzhan stood at his father's coffin with his grandparents and accepted condolences.
The funeral of Sevim, married with two children, was buried in the family cemetery in the same neighborhood after the funeral prayer.
