The bridge built on the railway will connect the beach with the city center

Kocaeli Metropolitan Municipality is carrying out the coastal project that will revive the coasts of Derince and the Gulf coasts. The coastline, which has gained a new image, is connected to the city center by means of a vehicle bridge on the railway for citizens to use easily.

Tütünçiftlik work started next to the minibus stop in progress. Curtain concretes are made on the railway's edge of the bridge. When the bridge is completed, Derince-Tütünçiftlik and Yarımca shores will be accessible by rail.

37 meters long bridge will be built with two spans. 29 prestressed special concrete beam will be used on the bridge. Total 78 bored piles will be installed to keep the bridge standing.

Pedestrians will also be illuminated by electric poles. When the bridge crosses the coastline, the desired direction will be reached by the side roads extending in the east-west direction.
