ISTANBUL
10 tenders will be held in the coming days for the completion of the subway line, which was transferred to the Ministry of Transport in recent months, when the construction in Ankara was started 3 years ago, but could not be completed. The Ministry of Transport, Railways, Ports and Airports (DLH) Construction General Directorate will hold the tenders of Kızılay-Çayyolu as well as Batıkent-Sincan metro and Tandoğan-Keçiören line between 22-24 June. The requirement of 15 million TL worth of business experience within 100 years to the companies that will participate in the subway tenders to be held by the Ministry aroused the suspicion of delivering the tender to the address. In this case, while the number of companies to participate in the tender remained at 10, the question “Will the tenders go to privileged companies” came up.
COMPETITION DISABLED
The Ministry of Transport, which took over the 44-kilometer Ankara metro that the Ankara Metropolitan Municipality continues to construct, brought along discussions on the terms of the companies to participate in the tender. The conditions for the tender of the line to be made in 3 sections, namely Kızılay-Çayyolu, Batıkent-Sincan and Tandoğan-Keçiören, brought to mind the question whether the tenders would be awarded to privileged companies. The number of companies will be reduced to 10 with the scoring procedure for three lines to which 6 companies will participate, and 3 companies will undertake the construction of each section of the line divided into 2 sections. It was argued that if the companies to participate in the tender were scored, the competition would be eliminated. It was stated that the tenders should be open to all companies instead of the participation conditions that prevent competition.
SAME COMPANIES ON THE COAST ROAD
The Ministry of Transportation DLH Construction General Directorate will first tender for the Kızılay-Çayyolu line on Tuesday (June 22). It is stated that the tenders will be awarded to one of Çelikler, Fermak, Cengiz, Limak, Kolin, Mapa, Gülermak, Güriş, İsdaş and Türkkerler construction. It was noteworthy that some of these companies entered into the Ministry of Transport's Black Sea Coastal Road tenders and got jobs. 3 out of 10 companies that will enter the tenders to be held separately for 4 legs of the metro line will be eliminated. 3 companies will compete in 6 tenders to be held separately. 2 companies will undertake the construction of each part of the line.
