Latvian Passenger Train Joint Stock Company Pasazieru Vilciens (PV) has signed a train supply contract with Spanish Train manufacturer CAF. The company will buy 34 electric trains and seven diesel trains. For these trains, CAF will also provide service and maintenance over the next 30 years.
The new trains will operate in Latvia in the first half of 2014. All order will be delivered in 2015.
