The Deputy Minister pointed out the role that the Union has played in this regard, pointing out that the meeting is an important opportunity to share experiences, opinions and ideas in finding suitable solutions to the challenges.

The series made a presentation on the Ministry of Transport's plan to expand the railway network between Syria-Iraq, Syria and Lebanon.

On the other hand, Murhef Sabuni, the Secretary General of the General Directorate of the Arab Railways, thanked the Syrian government for meeting the different demands of the union and supporting the union by declaring that the meeting aims to discuss the issues related to the development of railway networks in the Arab countries.

The Arab Railways Association, which started its work on April 18, 1979, aims to reinforce cooperation and share experiences among Arab countries in the field of railroad networks.
