Istanbul Metropolitan Municipality, which continues to equip the city with a rail system by making the necessary investments to make public transportation comfortable and timely in Istanbul, where the rail system is rapidly becoming widespread, is working diligently to end the traffic ordeal.

The metro, the construction of which began in 1992 and served between Taksim and 4.Levent, entered service on September 16, 2000. DISABLED PEOPLE

The first section, which opened between Sirkeci and Aksaray in 1992, was first connected to Topkapı and Zeytinburnu and then to Eminönü. INTEGRATION WITH MARINE TRANSPORTATION

Today, rail system projects and constructions have been accelerated in order to integrate urban transportation in Istanbul and to speed up and modernize urban transportation.
