Pointing out that the section between Gebze and İzmit Köseköy will be completely rebuilt according to the high-speed train standard, Yıldırım stated that the line should remain closed for a while.


Reminding that they will completely close between Gebze and Haydarpaşa this year, Yıldırım has been Kadıköy He emphasized that the capacity deficiency caused by the closure will be eliminated in this way as the rail system will be opened.

Binali Yıldırım reminded that Marmaray has 75 thousand passengers per hour in one direction, 150 thousand in two directions, 1,5 million daily.
