İzban's 50 millionth passenger, Nur Yıldırım, Won the One-Year Free Transportation Award.

Nur Yıldırım, a student of 9 Eylül University Faculty of Law who passed through Şirinyer Station, won a one-year free transportation award with İZBAN.
Nur Yıldırım became the 30 millionth passenger of İZBAN, which has been a suburban operator since 2010 August 50 on the İZMİR - Aliağa-Cumaovası line.

Nur Yıldırım, who serves about 100 thousand people a week and makes a tourniquet pass at Şirinyer, the busiest station of İZBAN, at 11.04, was amazed by the surprise of İZBAN. While the second year student of Dokuz Eylul University Faculty of Law, Nur Yildirim, was passing through the turnstile as a 2 millionth passenger, the confetti blew at the same time while sirens were playing at Sirinyer Station. Welcoming Nur Yıldırım with flowers, İZBAN General Manager Selçuk Sert and Deputy General Manager Sönmez Alev gave Yıldırım the good news of "You have become the 50 millionth passenger of İZBAN". Nur Yıldırım has won a one-year free travel award with İZBAN as the 50 millionth passenger. Nur Yıldırım, who said that he won an award for the first time in his life and experienced happiness at the same time, said, “It was a big surprise for me. Since I am a university student, I use İZBAN at least twice a day. I am very pleased with İZBAN and I think it significantly relieves public transportation in Izmir. ”

Reminding that İZBAN General Manager Selçuk Sert started operating on 30 August 2010, the first passengers of İZBAN were Minister of Transport, Maritime Affairs and Communications, Binali Yıldırım, Izmir Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Aziz Kocaoğlu and TCDD General Manager Süleyman Karaman, “Our 50 millionth passenger is a university student. Today, we serve 150 thousand passengers a day. Our ultimate goal; to reach 550 thousand per day. I believe that we will reach our final goal very quickly with the realization of the new train set tender of 40 sets and the arrangements to be made ”.

While İZBAN General Manager Selçuk Sert and Deputy General Manager Sönmez Alev distributed cloves to Izmir women who passed through Şirinyer Station due to March 8 International Women's Day, the application was carried out in all stations in the first morning.
