AK Party Tepebaşı District Chairman Ata Bursa Moved Before Eskişehir in Tram Production, Said.

Ak Party Tepebaşı District President Vahap Ata visited the Eurasia Rail Railway Light Rail Systems, Infrastructure and Logistics Fair held in Istanbul.

According to the written statement made by the Ak Parti District Directorate, Ata, at the fair held in Istanbul Expo Center, Bursa Metropolitan Municipality, Siemens and Durmazlar He examined the tram named "Silkworm" produced in cooperation with AŞ.

Ata said that the importance of the use of Turkish-branded trams in various cities of the country and the world in the coming years, said:

“Bursa moved before Eskişehir in tram production. This should set an example for us. In the meetings in the Metropolitan Municipality Council regarding the tram, the proposal we made as members of the AK Party Municipal Council regarding the local production was opposed by the Mayor of the Metropolitan Municipality with the excuse of 'trying to prevent the tram project'. Unfortunately, the wrong decisions taken without taking into account these suggestions, which were rejected without being accepted just because they came from the opposition, blocked our city. If trams were produced in Eskişehir, we would be an example for our other cities and there would be trams produced in Eskişehir in world cities.

Ata also stated that they will work to make Eskişehir a rail systems center.
