The joint venture of Invensys Railway company and civil engineering company Fermak won the tender for the installation of ETCS Level 310 signaling and communication devices for the 2 km line between Bandırma and Menemen by TCDD for 76 Million Euros.
Invensys Rail includes all design, supply, assembly, test and commissioning of the line with the Balıkesir traffic control center, with the 59 million Euro part of the contract, Onboard equipment, onboard and lineside equipment, electronic Westrace clamps, FS3000 seamless part circuits, level crossing security systems and GSM -R reportedly undertakes voice and data communications.
Invensys Railways had previously undertaken the task of raising the ETCS Level 1 to Level 2 for the high speed train line between Ankara and Koya in partnership with Yapı Merkezi.
In November 2011, Invensys Rail Dimetronic signed a contract to provide Marmaray's cross-Bosphorus tunnel project, Sirius CBTC and Futur ERTMS.
