Rail plan to the West Bank

Israel's Haaretz newspaper announced that the Israeli railroad company is preparing a 11 kilometer-long railway plan in the West Bank.

The Israeli railway company reached by AFP sözcüSü stated that the plan was submitted to the Israeli Ministry of Transport, but the issue was left to the decision of the politicians.

The Haaretz newspaper claimed that it was a poor possibility to implement this project because of diplomatic, legal and material obstacles. While the cost and the date of the project has not yet been announced, the newspaper reminded that Minister of Transport Israel Katz expressed earlier plans that a railway network would be possible in the West Bank.
