Karabük Iron and Steel Works (KARDEMİR) Inc., the Republic of Turkey State Railways (TCDD), the international tender for supply of rails, reported that the company remains the most suitable bidder.
In the declaration sent to the Public Lighting Platform (KAP) by KARDEMİR, it was stated that "TCDD General Directorate participated in the international tender held on February 15, 2012 and the tender remained under the bids of our company, which gave the most suitable bid."
The report recorded:
”TCDD General Directorate participated in the international tender launched for the supply of 22.500 tons of 60E1 and 19.000 tons of 49E1 900 A quality rails, and the tender remained under the bids of our company, which gave the most appropriate bid. The bid price was announced by TCDD as 26.684.500 Euros and the technical and commercial evaluation process is ongoing. ”
