I do not agree with the Haydarpaşa discussions. The Marmaray project starts from Gebze and stretches from Söğütlüçeşme, Üsküdar, under the Bosphorus to Sirkeci. Therefore, when Marmaray leaves from there, there will be no need for a railway between Haydarpaşa and Söğütlüçeşme. In this case, 1 million square meters of land in and around Haydarpaşa will be re-evaluated.
The station building, the areas where the trains gather, the port area, the silos, the project was prepared by the History Board. This project will be implemented this year. Haydarpaşa will remain as it is. The functions in it will change. There is a signaling mechanism. It is also very dangerous for this historical building. This system will be removed from there. It will be used as a cultural center.
Historical committees made analyzes about these places one by one. Nostalgic train services can be put up to Haydarpaşa. There are already rails. The high-speed train line is built over the existing line. Because there is no land to be expropriated for the new line. For this reason, all flights from Haydarpaşa will no longer be made.
