AK Party Konya Deputy Hüseyin Üzülmez said that the tender for the Logistics Village to be built in Kayacık will be made within 1 month and the loading may start in 2013.
Touching on High Speed Train services between Konya and Ankara, Üzülmez said, “The tender was launched for the High Speed Train sets that can speed up to 300 kilometers per hour. In a few months, purchases will be made and trains traveling at speeds of 300 kilometers per hour will start. With the renewal of the line between Sincan and Ankara, the distance between Konya and Ankara will decrease to 1 hour and 15 minutes. With the renewal of this line, High Speed Train services between Konya and Eskişehir are planned to start. If the Eskişehir-Istanbul line is launched in 2013, the Konya-Eskişehir-Istanbul High Speed Train services will start. Another project is the Konya-İzmir express train service that will go to İzmir via Afyonkarahisar. In addition, the line works between Karaman and Silifke continue at full speed. ”
