Bursa Metropolitan Municipality Mayor Recep Altepe made a technical trip with members of the press on the BursaRay Görükle line, which was opened in September with the start of the new term at the university. Providing information about the modern productions carried out, Mayor Altepe noted that thanks to the project change, 36 percent more lines were brought to Bursa, and it paved the way for the Görükle line to be extended further to the west in the future.
Mayor Altepe, who came together with Erdem Saker, one of the former mayors of the Metropolitan Municipality, and the municipal bureaucrats at BursaRay Şehreküstü Station, gave information about the vizematic that eliminated the queue wait in visa updates. Expressing that there is an 900 meter long tunnel in Görükle line, Mayor Altepe said, “We turned the tunnel to be made by drilling manufacturing into a close-and-close tunnel. After all, here's the tunnel again. Only the workmanship was still more economical. In the center of the city, all the tunnels were built on and off, and a tunnel was proposed for a wide area like a university. We decided it wasn't necessary. Again, we evaluated the level differences on the line well and made some changes. The old project was going under the stream of Ayvali, we passed it. In this way, with the changes we made in the project, we made a two-stop, approximately 2,5 kilometer additional line to Emek. For this purpose, we did not make additional tenders, nor did we increase the work, nor did we give more money. As a result, Bursa won with this rational change. ”
President Altepe, descending at the last stop on the campus of Görükle, showed the location of the last station in the project that was changed to the members of the press.

CLOSER TO HOSPITAL
Mayor Altepe stated that the project change brought great convenience for the citizens who had to go to the Hospital of the Faculty of Medicine every day and said, Alt The last station in the old project was on the east side of the Faculty building.
