Marmaray metro operating frequencies

The Marmaray project carried out by the Ministry of Transportation, General Directorate of Railways, Ports and Airports Construction (DLH) is carried out with a European Investment Bank loan. Gebze-Haydarpaşa, Sirkeci- forming the component of CR1Halkalı The Project of Improving the Public Transportation System will be constructed with the partnership of Doğuş Construction and Trade Inc. and French Alstrom and Japanese Marubeni.

The mentioned project services of the Marmaray project are provided by Temelsu Uluslararası Mühendislik Hizmetleri A.Ş. / Prota Engineering Project and Consulting Ltd. Şti. / Infrastructure Engineering Consultancy Contracting and Trade Ltd. Şti. It started with the contract signed between the Joint Venture and Doğuş İnşaat on 25 May 2007. Survey - Project, Engineering and Consultancy Services within the scope of the contract are handled in three main groups:
I. Group Jobs / Route Works
II. Group Works / Bridges and Large Art Structures
Group 3 Jobs / Stations
Group I Jobs

  • Routes and Earthworks
  • Drainage, promotion lines, pump stations
  • Small Art Structures (small apertures and shrinkage from the opening of 10 m)

  • Displacement Projects

II. Group Jobs

  • Bridges (Overpass and overpass bridges, Pedestrian and overpass bridges, River bridges, Open-close tunnels)
  • Viaducts

III. Group Jobs

  • Stations and other superstructure works

Gebze-Haydarpaşa, Sirkeci-Halkalı The public transport system project covers the above-ground sections of the Marmaray Project on both sides of the Bosphorus tube passage. Available Gebze-Haydarpaşa (Söğütlüçeşme) and Sirkeci (Kazlıçeşme) -Halkalı the bulk stone system will be disassembled and two of them (T1 and T2) for suburban purposes and the other (T3) TCDD will be designed for passenger and cargo transportation.

The project speeds are projected as 100 km / h for the 80 km / h suburban line for the TCDD line.
Kazlıçeşme (8 + 441.276), Halkalı (26 + 925) is approximately 18,50 km, and the Asian part of Söğütlüçeşme (0 + 650,418) is 44 km between Gebze (000 + 43,35). The total project length is about 62 km.

The project passes through the historical walls and Byzantine, Ottoman monuments and / or near the European side. In these sections, relations with historical artifacts should be considered in terms of importance and adaptation in terms of natural assets.

III. Group Jobs; 36 stations located on Asian and European sides are the preparation of architectural and structural system application projects. Accordingly, III. Group Works includes the preparation of 10 units on the European side and 26 units on the Asian side.
