Ir As it is known, one of the most important projects that will contribute to our Karaman and Region is the High Speed Train Project. With the completion of the Konya-Ankara High Speed Train Project and the commencement of Raybüs flights between Karaman and Konya, a very important distance has been exceeded for the transportation to Konya and Ankara by train.
In addition, the Konya-Karaman-Mersin-Adana High Speed Train Project survey work was completed and put into our Government's 2023 Year Plan.
As the Karaman MPs, we took part in the investment program of Konya-Karaman Double Line Railway Project which will form the infrastructure of High Speed Train as a result of our initiatives in the Ministry of Transportation and General Directorate of State Railways. It is aimed to complete the 170-2 investment project with a total of 3 Million TL. The amount of the tender price, 17 Million TL has been allocated for this investment.
For the continuation of this project, 21 Million 550 Thousand TL appropriation has been allocated to the Adana-Mersin Dual Line Railway Project.
Konya-Karaman-Mersin-Adana high-speed train line will be double line and will be used for passenger and freight transportation. Thus, the economic potential of our region and Karaman will be increased and more easily accessible to Mersin Port.
At the same time, the rail bending works in Çumra direction have been prolonged due to the problem caused by high voltage lines and will be completed within 3 months.
It is a very important development that the infrastructure project of the High Speed Train Project, which is the year's longing, will be started this year.
